Overbooked. Intake has a receptionist and a data entry clerk. After 40 minutes post appointment time I asked how long the wait is. Receptionist said I'm next, then I watched the data entry clerk walk over to grab my folder after hearing me and her, then walk back to her desk and place my folder in n front of her computer, then resume eating what she was eating when I asked. I then after 2 or 3 minutes (from my seat) "Do you guys ever get a break"? Only after my question did the data entry clerk start working again followed by taking my folder through a door to an area I had no way of seeing and disappeared for... Well it's been 5 minutes so far and have no idea. It's now been 50 minutes since my appointment time.

Waited over an hour for my appointment. Finally got the “clicker” test done and received no feedback except they’ll call me if anything is wrong. The tech was friendly but not very experienced at what she was doing. Not likely I’ll go back.

I understand it's been a while since I've been to they eye doctor. I been going to them since I was a kid. But since its been too long, they won't take me back even though I have been going there for many many many years. I haven't been able to go back because of money and no insurance. Now that I have insurance I wanted to get my eyes checked. I guess it doesn't matter how long you go to any place, if you don't meet there qualifications then out the door you go.

They took wonderful care of both of my parents, with an emphasis on care. An excellent exam. And I am sure it is frustrating if you want to go there and are told they aren't accepting new patients (or old patients who haven't been seen in years), but if they took on more patients than they could handle, everyone would be unhappy.

I came here with an eye infection which was seen by a couple other Dr's already and wrongly diagnosed. The eye Dr here was able to properly diagnose it and help me clear it up within a couple weeks. Dayton eye care saved my vision and I'll always remember the help I received.
