I've been going to Karen for therapeutic massage for more than twenty years. I have done a lot of traveling, getting massage in several countries, and I can easily say she is the best I have encountered. When she moved to Hawthorne about 15 years ago, I followed her even though it requires a 45 minute drive each way. Her treatment room is quite comfortable, and even has warm blankets in the winter. She does not try to engage you in conversation if you are there for peace and quiet. What I like best is that she doesn't slather you with greasy lotion or oil, using just a minimum to assist her careful attention to each muscle group. Her rates are competitive and she is easy to contact. It's just a wonderful experience.
