Davis Companion Animal Hospital

I have to be neutral. Davis companion hospital is not a bad vet but Dr. Davis and his technicians lacks a little compassion. When I brought my rescued kitten who was about 4 months old Dr. Davis did a very quick rushed check up with his tech but they treated him my kitten like he was a street cat which he wasn't he was from a farm who was born inside a farmhouse. He gave him a leukemia shot which none of my cats ever had in 50 years and all lived up to 23 years old. Since then my kitten has had some health issues . The receptionist is extemely helpful and nice. I just believe maybe it's time for Dr. Davis to retire?

We cannot thank the team at Davis enough for all they have done, not just for our personal pets, but for the Husky that has come into our care, Alaska. As well as the numerous rescue cats and dogs they have helped us with in a pinch! The team at Davis feels just as much a part of our rescue family as the other rescues we work with. We are forever grateful for their care and compassion!

Visited today for a check up with our 3 year old PWD. Everyone was really nice. Very attentive, including cleaning our dogs ears and cutting his nails. Dr. Davis was very thorough and talked us through everything. He knew exactly how to handle our dog and be gentle. We didn’t feel rushed. I definitely recommend this vet.

Dr. Davis came outside after examining both dogs for the first time and gave a most thorough report. The staff is efficient, friendly and professional. I think we made a good choice in choosing Davis as our new vet.

Brought my dog in for an opinion on a # of issues. See female vet: Who the hell are you? Stand in for Dr. Davis. I expected to see Dr. Celella? He doesn't work certain Fridays and Dr. Davs needs a break. After man handling the dog getting him jacked up the exam consisted of : ck 1 ear and open mouth. Waste of time. Came back wk later had issue w vestibular disease. Dr Celella , number of tests and meds. $850 "done all I can do..". Waste of time. Looked up basic meds 400% mark up and useless. Seems like Davis is on his way out and Celella is coasting through his late innings. Done w this vet.
