Davis and Wine Dental Associates

I’ve been going to Davis and Wine the entire time that I’ve lived here in the low country. I’ve been fortunate to have an excellent hygienist by the name of Andrea who has made my cleanings and treatments a pleasure. As a person who has Bad tartar, buildup, and cleanings every 3 to 4 months she has taken the fear and the anxiety out of it completely for me. Dr Wine has treated me also and has been excellent I strongly, recommend this practice to anybody who’s looking for dental care

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dental office. During my visit, I was given X-rays that I assumed were the standard yearly X-rays typically covered by insurance. At no point was I informed that they were performing an upgraded version that was not covered by my insurance. I was completely unaware that anything outside of the routine annual X-rays was being done. Patients deserve full transparency and clear consent before any service is performed that results in additional out-of-pocket costs. When I later received a bill and called for clarification, the person I spoke with was extremely rude and unhelpful. The Doctors and assistants here are great. But the office staff is atrocious!!!!! Amanda is very helpful and tries to go above and beyond to help anyone but the other 2 girls on the front are very unprofessional and RUDE!!!!! Monique was very short and frustrated with me when I had several questions concerning my treatment that she obviously did not know so im sure her frustration was being asked questions she had no knowledgeof at all. She had no dental knowledgewhat so ever! Not sure she really knows much about Dental at all and Melissa does not call anyone back or follow up with any type of treatment that she is supposed to!!!! I talked to her several times and each time she stated she would call me back with an estimate she never did as well as other things I needed done she acted like

Andrea is the BEST! She makes going to the dentist fun and stress free!! I will only let Andrea clean my teeth ♥️

Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Dentist are abrasive when speaking to patients. Did not help when you already feel uneasy about procedure. Not a good fit for me.
