I could not hold anything or grasp with my left hand. I had previously gotten Cortizone injections, but they were no longer working on me. Dr. Tucker told me that surgery was our only option. He made it sound simple and said I would be out of the gym for six weeks. It is now going on 16 weeks and extensive occupational therapy. Now Dr. Tuckman tells me it’ll take about a year to heal. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask a lot of questions and I thought this was a simple surgery. It has been a very long and painful recovery. I am told that I will feel great when it is all healed. I have now passed the first quarter. Fortunately, the doctor was great at returning phone calls. I expect a full recovery but won’t know for awhile. I’m still in Occupational Therapy and my hand is weak. Very slowly

5 stars I saw Dr. Tuckman yesterday after badly dislocating my finger, which had already been reset at urgent care. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff — including Margaret — were warm and welcoming. But special recognition goes to medical assistant Nate, who was truly exceptional in making me feel at ease. Dr. Tuckman himself is an exceptionally kind and accommodating physician, and you can tell from just one visit that you're in the hands of a true expert in his field. He took new X-rays, carefully reviewed them alongside the prior ones, and had a clear picture of exactly where things stood — all within just a few minutes. The office was clean and ample. Staff was friendly and efficient. Wait time was minimal. Dr. Tuckman was straight to the point, answered my questions and had a great personality. I had to schedule a procedure and the person that assisted me was also friendly, efficient and provided information in a clear, concise manner.

Was highly recommended to get a second opinion for my mom’s condition of her hand. She was in an accident and wasn’t sure if she needed hand surgery or skin graphing. Upon meeting Dr Tuckman, he was very friendly, polite and had a great bedside manner. I found him to be very thorough and general with my mom. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Tuckman is very professional and has excellent insight into problems with the hand and fingers. He pretty much runs on time with his scheduled appointments and diagnosed my trigger finger correctly and provided a cortisol shot for relief and it worked like a charm. An excellent orthopedic doctor.
