David Nolan MD | Kaiser Permanente

I actually saw Dr. Nolan for just a few minutes before a "lights out" endoscopy procedure, as expected. I've had the same procedure many times before and each time actually talked to the doctor only briefly before sedation. Treatment was on time, efficient. I was treated with respect and felt the medical team was there just for me. Every procedural step was announced/explained to me. Jim

Dr Nolan was very personable and informative and cheerful. He and his crew made sure I understood all of the procedures that were happening and checked in all the time to make sure I was okay and comfortable. They had a preliminary diagnosis available as I left the office with a notice that follow up information would be forthcoming. A typical efficient professional Kaiser experience.

After putting off a colonoscopy for the past couple years, I figured I should probably finally get one. Scheduled with Dr. Nolan and it couldn't have gone better. I was dreading this procedure, and after 2 days off not eating and drinking the "delicious" gallon of Poop be Gone, I was ready to get it over with. I decided not to be sedated, which at first, I started to regret after everyone being surprised by that decision, but went ahead with it anyway. Dr. Nolan explained everything beforehand and even pointed out the anatomy during the procedure. Everyone was great and though it's not exactly pleasant, it was nowhere near as bad as I had imagined. Dr. Nolan and my nurse Anna were very kind and helpful throughout the entire visit. They took the time to thoroughly address my questions and concerns about the procedure. I felt very well taken care of by both.

Great Doctor. He really cares about his patients and their medical history. He has been my doctor for a few years and I am grateful for the attention he has given my case. I hope i continue to work with Dr. Nolan until i am better.
