First time patient visit, received thorough X-rays and teeth cleaning session from Heather, who is INCREDIBLE! She offered me numbing gel for the process because I’ve always had very sensitive teeth since childhood. I’ve never been to a dentist office for a regular cleaning where numbing gel was an option! The most pleasurable cleaning I’ve ever had. I’m thrilled :-) Brie (apologies if I misspell your name) was amazing too. She took a type of 3D imaging of my upper & lower teeth so that I could understand areas that need care, why it is essential, and what requires attention. There are so many good things to say about the whole team at Lafayette Dental Excellence! I came to them with an extensive dental history and still needed crowns, a bridge, an implant, and a wisdom tooth removal. My first visit included a cleaning as well as an evaluation for plan of care. The cleaning (I'm sorry I can't remember the hygienist's name!) left my teeth shinier than I have ever seen them. Dr. Leo and his assistants (Brie & Jane) listened to my concerns with sincere empathy and gave solid, down-to-earth answers to all my questions. Mary answered all my payment plan questions with a skill that showed her experience level for all things dental. I lived in Lafayette for 5 years and started my dental experience with Dr. Leo during that time. Dr. Leo and his employees have always been very personable and professional. They have all put me at ease for my appointments (I am very uncomfortable in a dentist chair!). I now travel 3 hours for my dental appointments and will continue to do so. He is my favorite dentist ever!

I can’t say enough positive things about Lafayette Dental Excellence. It is, by far, the best dental experience I’ve had. Dental hygienist, Cherie, is exceptionally skillful and is somehow able to be both very thorough and gentle at the same time. She remembers me as a person, and is always prepared and respectful of my dental sensitivity and slight nervousness. Days before every appointment, I receive a call from the office sharing an estimate of any out of pocket expenses there may be so I will not be surprised. Dr. Leo is kind and very human, and speaks with me with honesty and respect. Overall, a really stellar clinic that I highly recommend.
