Darrin Kuczynski

Dr. Kuczynski is a fantastic old school surgeon. He repaired my complete rotator cuff tear. I have full confidence in his skill, and his staff were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend his practice.

I want to say Thank You to Dr Kuczynski for the excellent care I received after falling and basically breaking my elbow while on vacation on the Big Island. He took the time to carefully explain the severity of the break and that surgery would be required. He called in Dr Bellino and assisted him with the surgery and did all the follow up. I also want to thank everyone at the hospital and clinic for the wonderful support and care I received.

I had a medical emergency in Hawaii which resulted in a triple fracture of my leg. After one emergency surgery, this clinic advised me to stay on the island for another surgery required to fix the broken bones. After Dr. Kuczynski saw I have public insurance, he refused to do the surgery. He never saw me nor consulted with me yet gave the recommendation that I get on a 6 hour flight back to California with three unaddressed fractures placing me at risk for various other health issues. Completely upsetting and unethical. I had already booked a non-refundable week for recovery only to have them tell me 3 days later they won’t do and will turn me away from the ER.

Very professional Dr. Kuczynski is knowledgeable and very personable a pleasure to see and my confidence for him is extremely high.

He done a complete knee replacement in November. I couldn't be happier . He's great at explaining things and let's you know what he expects out of you . Very grateful to have him on the Big Island .
