My husband and I both see Dr Shumate. We are very happy with him and his lovely staff. It is nice to find a dentist who seems to really like what he is doing and it shows. His staff is always thoughtful and courteous. He replaced a front cap and also put a cap on the one next to it. So far, it is just the temporary caps, but even they look awesome. Crystal did an amazing job and she is meticulous and very calming. Can't wait to see the permanent caps!!

Once again , Dr Shumate and his team have taken care of me so well!!!.. I have had years of fillings removed and when needed .. I have received beautiful crowns to shore up weakened ‘old’ teeth. I am an anxious gal and that they offer nitrous oxide and truly caring ways -makes my dental experience STELLAR! Thank you so very much🥰

I first visited Dr. Shumate when I was having tooth pains and he got me an appointment the very same day and took care of the tooth quickly. He has been very great as I keep getting more teeth work done at his office. Everyone is very kind and accommodating and the whole office is very easy to be around. Being new to the area I was a little nervous about the new dentist situation but Dr. Shumate's dental hygienist was super friendly and enthusiastic for a Monday morning appointment. Sort of made my day! Dr. Shumate was extremely friendly during his exam and made it a point to connect personally with me, his new patient! I just had the best experience here! I am a stay at home mom with a nine week old baby. My husband works and we don't have childcare, but I desperately needed to go to the dentist! As it was my first visit, I called to ask if I could bring my son along, and they said yes. Well, not only were they friendly and accommodating - they went above and beyond to make me and my son comfortable. Several amazing things happened - they were happy to let me hold him AND nurse him while they were cleaning my teeth! The dental hygienist, Rhonda, was so awesome and even got me a towel to prop up my arm while I was nursing so it didn't get tired. Seriously, the best experience, especially for someone with children. What an atmosphere. Awesome job!
