Dale Garber, M.D., FAAP

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Dale was disappointing. She does not listen carefully to her patients and made assumptions instead of asking clarifying questions. I felt dismissed, as though my concerns were not taken seriously. She also seemed to assume that parents have no understanding of health, which came across as condescending. In addition, when I mentioned a previous appointment in Brazil, she dismissed the comment (but medical practices in other countries are also based on well-studied science). Overall, I left the appointment feeling unheard, undervalued as she tried to and I would not recommend her to others.

I scheduled a physical so my daughter can play sports. I wasn't in town when the appointment was scheduled. My daughters mother took my daughter to see Dr. Dale Garber asked a perfectly healthy 15 year old girl if she gets out of breath when she exercises and my daughter said yes. So Dr. Dale Garber told My daughter she needs to see a cardiologist before she can sign off on it. My daughter exercises at high intensity while lifting weights 3-4x a week she doesn't need to see a cardiologist. Absolute joke! Talk about preventative health let's just send a healthy kid who exercises on a regular basis that gets out of breath from exercise to see a cardiologist not gets out of breath from standing up or walking but from actual exercise to get their heart checked out.
