Dains Family Dental

We recently switched our kids from a dentist in KC to Dr. Dains and I only wish we'd switched them over sooner. Dr. Dains and his staff have been great with the kids. He's thorough and takes his time to explain everything and we greatly appreciate that. Extremely impressed with him and his staff!

Took my 6 year old, she needed 2 top back teeth pulled out at the same time..he did excellent, along with his assistant. They kept her comfortable, and relaxed. The lady at the front desk is super nice and friendly. I don't have dental insurance, and the prices were affordable. Id give this a 10/10

Dr. Dains and his staff are amazing. I’m terrified of the dentist but Dr. Dains and his staff are always so attentive to my anxiety and have created an environment, for me, that puts me at ease. I followed Dr. Dains to his private practice after he parted ways with Compass for this reason and he and his staff have carried that compassion over with them to his private practice. Dr. Dains is very patient and listens to any and all questions and takes the time to explain them in depth and makes sure you understand YOU are in charge of YOUR dental care. Nothing is ever done without complete agreement on the next step and I appreciate he always lets me know what the next step is of any procedure before he does it, so there are no surprises of the sharp and pokey kind. I first visited Dains Family Dental with a dental emergency on 12/7/23. I had a broken wisdom tooth that I neglected for a long time because of my irrational fear of dental work and it had become infected causing excruciating pain. Dr. Dains removed it on 12/11 and the entire experience was BY FAR the best experience I’ve ever had when it comes to dental work. The office is so clean, comfortable, and genuinely inviting. Dr. Dains went above & beyond to ease my fears, something no other dentist has been able to do in the past, and I am very grateful. I only ever schedule dental work when I’ve let an issue get the point of being an emergency but I will absolutely be scheduling with them in the future to maintain & improve my oral health.
