CVS Specialty Pharmacy

Doesn't even deserve a half star. Sent me a vial of Tremfya for IV use instead of a self inject pen, charged my insurance then wouldn't replace the vial with a pen. So now I'm stuck with a $14,000 vial of medication. Customer service was awful, they said they would calle back in 5 minutes and then I never heard back. Going to report this high med error to the state in hopes that I will get my medication so I don't have regression of my disease.

Worst specialty pharmacy ever. Had my info and didn't bother to call to fill a $5 prescription. Said my insurance was terminated, which is a lie. Incompetent people that are poorly trained. Switched pharmacies and had my script filled in two days. Do not recommend CVS specialty pharmacy at all. Stay clear!

Giving CVS Specialty pharmacy 1 star feels like I am awarding them too much credit. If I could state a 0 star review I would. I was forced to use CVS specialty Pharm due to my BCBS. I have had my life saving medication cancelled twice after having confirmed ship dates. I have had the re-orders of those prescriptions delayed and cancelled again. CVS is 3 for 3 of messing up, delaying, and cancelling my medication. This results in stress and having these overnighted so that I am not at risk. For a pharmacy, these seem to lack any sense in supplying medications. CVS loves to transfer you to problem resolution, but all their team can tell you is that the system reads an error, and "I don't know". I will update my post if CVS improves, since I am stuck using them if I want my prescription me

It is a shame that I had to give this even one star. I personally would not have choosen CVS pharmacy, I was forced into the program because of billing errors and issues via BCBS FEP. They are also incompetent. However, since being switched to CVS my prescription has been delayed 6 times. 6 times in a month and a half. I get treatments ever week and constantly have to cancel my appointments. This is the first prescription that I have taken that has shown any promise for me and I'm about to give up. The constant stupidity and lack of concern has further exacerbated my anxiety and depression. I DO NOT WANT TO GO BACKWARDS with my mental health, but thanks to CVS and BCBS FEP I am.

I have read other reviews from other people and I have not had any problems that was mentioned in the other reviews so far cvs specialty pharmacy has been great had 1 issue but the team fixed it quickly one of my medication was out of stock and they searched there other locations that was in stock they went the extra mile by searching other locations. They’re pleasant and respectful to me. The medications I take are hard to find and they are the only ones that can find them They even cleaned up my account because there was multiple prescriptions for the same medications to eliminate confusion. I like that they can ship the medication to a Cvs store for pick up to keep them safe from the weather.
