CVS

I've tried going to the CVS since they opened it, I've had nothing but bad experiences the entire time. Absolutely do not get any shot or vaccination at this one unless you want to be a test subject for someone who's never done it in their life, and will leave terrible bruising from administering it incorrectly. One woman in the pharmacy is probably the most condescending, rude, and spiteful person I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. You'd be better off any pharmacy or store in town, and that's really saying something in Somerset.

The pharmacy recently helped me when I was in a difficult situation with my insurance and my doctor. First off, the CVS Somerset pharmacy has made improvements since I moved into the area about two years ago. They have always been friendly toward me, but they seem to be more efficient now in getting medications filled and notifying me about the progress of my medication through text messages. I am also able to easily order medication refills through their automated telephone service and online website. However, what has really inspired me to write a review is how they helped me when my insurance wouldn't cover my medication and I couldn't get a response from my doctor's office to adjust my prescription or do a prior authorization. Worst pharmacy ever. Person that took my information didn't take it accurately or thoroughly resulting in a prescription charged not covered by my insurance. Pulled into the drive thru.. the outside line "doesn't work". The pharmacy phone line- didn't work. The online database doesn't work for me since the person putting in my info put the number in wrong so even though I have it in my profile it HAS TO verify with the number that isn't mine. If you're in Somerset, GO TO THE MEDICINE SHOPPE.

CVS has always been my favorite pharmacy in the multiple places I've lived UNTIL moving to Somerset. This is hands down the worst pharmacy I've had to deal with. My husband had issues getting his medication before having to leave for a work trip and he immediately switched pharmacies after that. I should have followed suit. My doctor even asked me if I still want to use it because so many of her other patients have been having so many issues with them always being closed. I didn't, she sent in a new prescription today and I was wondering what was going on with it because they're usually pretty quick with filling mine which is why I haven't switched yet. However I call and they say that they're closed and it's definitely not lunch time and it's 4pm and I don't believe the pharmacy closes t

The employees are extremely helpful and the discounts sent weekly are great.
