CVS

We have been using CVS for YEARS! I had surgery in Birmingham today. We drove straight from Birmingham to CVS in Robertsdale to get my prescriptions filled. I had jaw surgery, so I needed something to help control my pain and get started on antibiodics. We got there around 5:00 and were told they could not fill my prescriptions tonight. My husband explained that I just had surgery and we needed my medication, but she still said they could not fill them tonight. This is very upsetting. She didn't show any concern for our situation. Very disappointing. I know CVS will only respond to this negative review telling me to contact their customer relations team, which will do nothing. I usually don't have any issues with the pharmacy at this CVS, but I realized they shorted me on my prescription. I came back to get the issue resolved; I wasn't nasty or angry about the situation. I don't know if she was just a pharmacy cashier or a pharmacy tech, but she was rude as hell and wanted to argue with me about what I need. She was short with long brown hair. She was also rude to an older gentleman next to me. The pharmacist, on the other hand, was very nice.

There is a new pharmacist there. She has THE ABSOLUTE WORSE PROFESSIONALISM. She got nasty with me bc insurance rejected them attempting to fill my RX under my husband's DOB instead of mine. I simply wanted to speak with the original manager being she has worked with my insurance before.....i eventually spoke with the original pharmacist/ manager to ask her to discuss "professionalism" with the staff she blamed it on the insurance company and completely ignored my concern for her rude technicians and other staff......So I'm certain there was no discussion.....so this is a friendly reminder to Be prepared for an extremely long wait, a Little bit of attitude and more than occasional mistakes, DEFINITELY IF THEY'RE BEHIND!. DO NOT COME TO THE PHARMACY IF YOU DONT WANT TO WAIT OVER 45 minutes. These people don’t care they look at you like you’re stupid. Medicine isn’t that hard to pack and put in a bag.

I recently had a deeply upsetting experience at the CVS in Robertsdale, Alabama, and I feel compelled to share it. While we were there, my dad grabbed a Pepsi from the cooler and started drinking it, fully intending to pay for it at the register. To our shock, an employee, I think her name was Jennifer, approached us and accused my dad of stealing. This accusation was not only unfounded but also incredibly disrespectful.
