CVS Pharmacy

The pharmacy didn't fill my script of prenatals. How a pharmacy can decide to not fill something so important that an actual Doctor sent in for a pregnant woman is beyond me. They said because it's in the store which means they want me to pay for it out of pocket. I have medicaid ! How is this allowed ? So weird

The in-store experience was fine although some products were out of stock but several times when I have tried to call the pharmacy to check on prescriptions you can never get through. You enter your information and it says sorry we don’t know what’s happening and if I hadn’t been going there anyway I would’ve had to have made a special trip to find out if it was even filled because the phone service to check was terrible and I’ve never gotten a text or anything.

While on vacation in Virginia I had to have a prescription transferred in from another state and the pharmacy was extremely helpful in getting my prescription filled with no problems. Very pleasant experience and very helpful.

This is my favorite CVS. My wife and I used to go to the Inwood WV CVS, but that one has some serious issues. This CVS on the other hand is great. The pharmacist (i can't remember his name) is such a decent guy. If you need a CVS, try this one.

Please dont bother with the drive thru pharmacy option. Every time I try to use it the person ahead of me feels the need to have a 10 minute conversation with the employee. I think if you have a complicated pickup perhaps you should be asked to come inside. Cvs has a minimum of pharmacy employees working as fast as they can. Be mindful of this and others are waiting.
