CVS Pharmacy

I had higher hopes for the second time around in dealing with this store. The first time, 5 years ago, they weren’t able to attach my insurance properly (Tricare). Then when flu and covid shots were required it was a battle - one day I was in the store for 2 hours as they tried to figure out how to get it through my insurance; either the employees are not properly trained/knowledgeable or the system is not configured properly for CVS-Tricare. Now, I’m being told there are issues with scripts that I’ve been getting filled and getting approved through express scripts for a long time via Rite Aid. They were quick to pin the blame on Tricare and say that rite aid was getting shut down due to fraud - which doesn’t impact my scripts at all - while neglecting to point out the Omnicare lawsuit

All of the CVS stores I use regularly have been extremely courteous and helpful. My prescriptions need to be moved around to different locations and I have never had a glitch in service or a problem obtaining the prescriptions.

PLEASE be VERY CAREFUL to check your prescriptions BEFORE you pay for them. I am wiser, but poorer for not doing so, resulting in paying for an expensive eye medication that was previously used, but dropped because of the expense. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!

I love my pharmacy team at Royersford CVS, They are very helpful to me.And they get my medicine ready for when I need it.... Everyone who works in the pharmacy is wonderful ..... Even At the front of the store, the team is wonderful. This is my CVS (Royersford)

It's like they work overtime trying to figure out new ways to be even worse at serving their customers. The norm since I've been getting my scrips filled here - 25+ years at least - has always been, they usually answer my calls to the pharmacy reasonably quickly, often immediately. Well, a month+ ago apparently, the pharmacy went to this voicemail only deal, so you can't even reach anyone back there when you call anymore. You now have to leave a voicemail which they SAY will be returned in one hour tops. Not today, the first time I call and run into this? It wasn't even close to being returned in less than 1 hour - and it all got much worse from there. (That today was now a couple weeks ago as of this edit 8/6/24.
