CVS Pharmacy

Yesterday, I visited the CVS location at 309 Main St, New Rochelle (#530) to pick up my medication while I was feeling unwell with the flu. Unfortunately, the drive-thru service was closed, which is a common experience for me at this location. In fact, most of the time, the drive-thru service is unavailable, which can be inconvenient for customers like myself who are not feeling well. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a long line and only two representatives at the register. After waiting for some time, I was finally called to the counter. However, the experience was disappointing. The representative, Dominique, seemed completely distracted by his phone. He never made eye contact or acknowledged me verbally; his eyes were fixed on his phone the entire time. It was clear that he ne

All of my prescriptions are here. Generally, service is okay. The only thing is that they rarely, if ever, have the drive thru open. That is somewhat of an issue for me as I have a hard time walking and standing in place for a long time. I suggest to have more staff on hand as my last visit was not too good. They had one cashier, and the line was longer than usual. Because of this, it took more than 30 minutes to get my meds, and standing for that amount of time was very uncomfortable for me.

This pharmacy has extremely slow service. The people that work there look miserable like they don’t want to be there. It’s not hard to look up peoples names on a computer and then look for their medication. Everything is in alphabetical order so that makes their job so much easier. They should hire hard working people, not just who ever walks through the door.

If you only have to pick up a medication that you got a text for saying it’s ready then the pharmacy is fine once you get through the long lines to pick up. They don’t have as much staff as they need so there are lines even when it’s not supposed to be rush hour. God forbid they’re supposed to be working on your medication but there is something outside the norm. Could be as simple as a medication you usually pay for out-of-pocket. Then they don’t fill it as usual, and they don’t call or text. The first time it happens to people they go straight to the pharmacy and wait in line not knowing the pharmacy hasn’t even begun to fill it. In a case like that you have to call the pharmacy to tell them you will pay so they work on it. Be ready to wait 30 minutes to an hour on hold before you talk
