CVS Pharmacy

I had tried to post a review before but do not see it... So this will cover both my visits to pick up prescriptions. I am new to this location but not to CVS. The pharmacist who helped me fill my prescriptions both times is wonderful and kind. I showed up a few minutes before closing, and the pharmacist immediately spotted me both times and asked how they could help me and reassured me when I apologized for coming so late in the day. They greeted me professionally and happily even though I imagine it had been a long day for them. It's not just the medicine I am picking up but having a positive interaction with another person that has made me feel better both times. As always the service and friendliness at CVS is always #1 In today’s times of rushing this is so important and especially to us senior citizens who really appreciate being treated this way.

So walked in to grab some Claritin D for my allergies while I was out today. Walked back to the Pharmacy and saw people in line. So I grabbed the card from the shelf, they require you to grab, and walked to get in line. It wasn't the instant I got in line I was rudely told by the attendants running the pharmacy, "We're closed for lunch", yet there's people in line getting stuff. I mentioned all I want was some Claritin D nothing crazy. This time they had a much meaner tone about it, and said again, "WERE CLOSED FOR LUNCH, SORRY". Then the one attendant with the glasses, and I think she had a nose ring rolled her eyes at me, and sighed like I was such a inconvenience. The people working at CVS are fine, but the automated system is so frustrating. So frustrating, in fact that I’m transferring dozens of prescriptions to rite aid. CVS, I tried. I truly did.

I hate the way there is always a slow line at the pharmacy. I am pretty patient, but I was a little irritated by the chit chat the pharm tech was engaging in with the customer. There were people waiting, and I was feeling awful. I had Covid, and the only place I could get the anti-viral was CVS. The drive thru there was not being used. Ugh.
