Used to be a smooth and easy experience for 2 years getting my prescription when it was Rite-Aid. Since switching to CVS everytime I'm there for a refill there's some problem and it's taken 45 min to 4 days to get my prescription filled, it's unreal and a complete waste of time. My doctor is having to contact the pharmacy multiple times every month and there's still no notes about what's going on. The employees are helpful and seem to be doing what they can to help but the CVS system obviously is not working. I'd recommend looking at other pharmacies like I am doing atm while waiting again for my refill.
Alot of the people that worked at Rite-Aid are still there and keeping it a great place to shop. All the shelves are stocked and put together nicely.
Not so efficient. Observed an elderly customer asked to put in his date of birth, phone # into the kiosk which he did. Then he was asked to recite both again. Which he did. Then he was shuffled off to "drop off" where he was asked again for the same info. He mentioned he had given his info multiple times and appeared to be mildly irritated. After returning to "pick up" he was asked again and offered an opportunity to join the "rewards" program. He declined. The kiosks do not appear to save anyone's time at all. They most certainly are a point of frustration for many of your more mature customers who frequent your pharmacy most often. Just saying..
I have only been using them for a very short time since they bought out Rite Aid, if it's still the same employees then I have nothing but good things to say about the customer service when they were Rite Aid. The only complaint I have is now it's almost impossible to get connected with the pharmacy. I don't want to have to leave a message every time I call. I wish it was as easy to connect as it was when they were Rite Aid.
I don't use the pharmacy often, but had to go there twice since it became CVS. Both times the pharmacy staff were cold and unfriendly, barely making eye contact and very unwelcoming.
