CVS Pharmacy

Terrible pharmacy. Insane wait times and a staff that is completely clueless, minus 1-2 girls. They have one permanent pharmacist and a bunch of part time rotating pharmacists. There is zero personal attention to you. Nobody knows what is going on, and, even though my medications go thru my insurance, and, law says they can give me my meds up to 2 days early, they do not. They literally hold medication hostage. It's absurd. I never come out of there not annoyed. It is by far the worst CVS I have ever dealt with. I'm starting to look for a different pharmacy. This CVS sucks and nobody seems to care about improving it. Read the reviews!! Terrible. I can't say enough bad things. The worst!!!

I have never waited less than 10 minutes to pick up a prescription from CVS Bordentown. If you don't wait inside, you will wait even longer in the drive-thru. Today (09/16/2025) I waited for 20 minutes at the counter. Three different pharmacists "tried" to help me find my prescription, to no avail. One of the pharmacists told me "I remember doing that" when I told her what my prescription was, then proceeded to the drive-through window, leaving me standing at the counter for 10 minutes with no one assisting me. When the fourth pharmacist asked if I was being helped (she noticed I had been standing there for 10 minutes with no one assisting me) I told her what I needed and my last name, and she found my prescription in 30 seconds. In and out fast 1/5/26 guy at register was really helpful. Lots of discounts on cold meds.

The store itself is usually well stocked and has a friendly customer service staff. The pharmacy however is totally incompetent and repeatedly makes mistakes and fails to fill scrips in a timely manner. In addition, they are disrespectful and condescending to their customers. Apparently they feel that counting pills is a skill that entitles them to have a bad attitude. On a recent visit (12/31/23) the female pharmacist even refused to get on the phone with the doctor to sort (after I got them on the phone) out an issue with heart medication. She seemed more interested in the chat she was having with the tech about her New Years Eve plans.
