CVS on 21st Ave has everything you’d expect from a well-stocked pharmacy. From the basic necessities, toiletries, and over-the-counter meds were all readily available. They used to have a small health clinic inside, but it’s no longer in operation. The bathroom is located toward the back, which is convenient if you know where to look. The cashier on duty wasn’t particularly warm, but with another employee available to help with general questions, it balanced out the experience. Parking is plentiful, but the store can be a bit tricky to access depending on the direction you’re coming from or heading out to. Overall, it gets the job done, but not the most welcoming vibe. I had a terrible experience today, I was waiting for the cashier to help me but worker named Helena told me to use the self check out system. I am not stupid, I know I can use it. I told her I want to wait for cashier so she can help me, but she kept insisting. I went to the machine, it didn't understand my coupon, I wasted my time and end up going to the cashier where I wanted to go in the first place. This happened to me three times before, so I asked the manager rose am I being treated like this because I'm black? This is unacceptable behavior. "I will talk to her" is all she said. Very poor manager at this store which is why employees are rude also. Every time I come here I have a bad experience. Corporate needs to do something

As a regular customer in CVS, today I witnessed bullying live from one employee to another. Rose* the store manager just walked into the teller and told Josh* “Next time use your common sense”. Say what? I intervened and told her that is not nice the way she talked to him is not nice at all, the manager went ahead and said he is doing him a favour by giving him hours at the store, I also reminded her that somehow she is also getting hours from someone! I do not know the basis of all that alterations but nobody is allowed to talk to another person in a very demeaning manner like she did. It doesn’t matter even if she is paying her rent! She continued defending herself and even made him feel guilty by stating that “she is patient with me” girl if you were patient with him enough you wouldn

Whoa AMAZING FULL STAFF ACTUALLY! VERY KIND AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE ACTUALLY. VERY SMART PEOPLE BEHIND THE COUNTERS VERY FAST AND ORGANIZED FLOODED WITH SMART PHARMACY STAFF. CVS on 21st Ave SW has always treated me like a special customer. I’m greeted by name, asked to enter my mobile phone number to get credits and apply coupons. I find all the stuff I’m looking for and more. Got my Passport photo and it was verified as meeting all the State Department requirements and it worked! Staff is friendly, professional and willing to make your experience; exceptional! Great job!
