Custom Prescriptions of Lancaster County

Edit: I left a 5 star review months ago. I dont know if the place has changed hands or what but service has gone from incredible to abysmal. I could not get a response to 4 phone calls over a period of a week and a half. My vet couldnt get a response either so I wound up getting my dog's RX filled someplace else only to have Custom Prescriptions finally fill it, charge me and then show up at my door with a prescription I needed sent someplace else. A whole bunch of hassle that would have been avoided had they bothered to return just 1 of 5 phone calls. It makes me sad to see a formerly terrific local business descend to a place below mediocrity.

Took three days to fill a prescription, which was filled in the wrong amount so the prescription ran out days ahead of time. Called six times to try to resolve the issue, no one answers or calls back. Rude staff, just a strange all around experience. I would rate it zero stars if I could. I had to eventually go there to speak to somebody, nobody other than the Front Desk person would come speak to me, even though I requested somebody else several times. Just as an experiment I tried to call their phone number while I was in there, the phone doesn’t even ring. I even checked with the Front Desk person that I was dialing the right number and extension. If possible, I would avoid this place at all costs. Reviews mentioned similar issues and that the business has recently been sold. Whatever

The phone system is terrible. They used to be incredible, but now it takes forever to get a prescription filled and you have no way of knowing when it’s ready. I live 40 minutes away south of the city and I have to drive in hoping my prescription is ready. Looking for an alternative.

It pains me to write a bad review for a local business, but this was the single worst experience with any business that I have ever had. The phone is never answered. Phone calls are never returned. I had to go there in person to set my prescription in motion and I was told it would take a week. No call after a week, my call not returned, no call after two weeks, my call not returned. I then gave up and contacted a local pharmacy who called their pharmacist, who promised to transfer the prescription that day. This was never done, and I had to contact my doctor for a new prescription, having lost a month.

The person that waited on me was rude. Not helpful and need to be taught what customer service. Really you need someone new
