Currituck Health & Rehab Center

We have had a truly wonderful experience with Currituck Health and Rehab. The staff is caring, attentive, and treats residents with genuine kindness and respect. The administration has also been great to work with — responsive, supportive, and compassionate. Holly the Social Services Director (and Tilly!) have been especially amazing. Their compassion and the special attention they give make such a difference. Because of the nurturing care our mother receives, her level of comfort and care has improved, and that means everything to our family. We are so grateful for the love and care shown to her every day. ❤️

Everyone I have had contact with have had my father in laws best interest at heart, they are caring and are very accommodating from the front office staff to housekeeping and maintenance. My dad had passed and instead of calling me to tell me he had died they called the hospice nurse who in turn called me to say that if I wanted to say goodbye I should come. Under the pretense that he was still alive. We left immediately thinking he was alive. When we got there he had passed and had been dead for hours before they had even called us. No one was there to tell us. We walked into his room and he was just laying there. It was 10 minutes before a nurse came and then acted like he had just died. He was completely stiff. His eyes were glazed over. It was awful. No one from the facility ever called after he passed.

I want to thank the staff at CHRC for providing a wonderful thanksgiving dinner for the residents and family to all enjoy together! It’s not easy having a family member not being able to enjoy the holidays at home but this was almost the same. The food was delicious and the decorations and staff were equally as wonderful!

It is my absolute pleasure to leave a review for this stellar Skilled Nursing Facility. The team @ Currituck Health & Rehab are awesome to work with; we partner in the care of our Senior population. the Social Services Director, Director of Nursing, and Admissions Director are well versed in the long term care arena; keeping the care of their patients at the forefront of everything that they do. I look forward to working with their new Administrator. I had a long conversation with her recently, and she is up or the task at hand. I'm certain with her at the helm this will be another reason to use their services! They are kind, empathetic, and very resourceful team!
