Kristin offers a unique nature play based approach to OT that made it fun and engaging for our child. She embraced our child’s creative spirit while helping build skills not yet developed. Kristin offered us both validation and insight to the ways our child processed the world around. Our child was able to improve executive functioning through fun experiences like obstacle courses and nature walks. Kristin helped build frustration tolerance through exercises that felt like play for our child. They discussed how different activities made them feel like running versus sitting still. Kristin also offered strategies that we could continue use at home. We are grateful to have found Coastal Connections Pediatric Therapy and for the positive impact Kristin has made not only with our child but als

Kristin is an amazing therapist! My 4yo son and I were lucky to participate in her outdoor classes for 2 sessions. Kristin radiates positive energy and quickly connects with kids. Her lesson plans were very engaging, ranging from physical movement to quiet nature observation and group games. I was very impressed with many activists that Kristin planned for each lesson: mud kitchen, leaf collecting and sorting, painting, potion making, scavenger hunts - those are just some examples of what we did each week. Our group included both neurotypical and neurodivergent children and Kristin did an excellent job of keeping everyone active and engaged. I love her approach of nature based therapy as there are many opportunities to learn, be active and find mindfulness in a natural setting and Kristin
