Dr. Rafei is an exceptional pediatrician who truly goes above and beyond for his patients. What I appreciate most is his ability to explain things clearly and calmly, making both parents and children feel supported and understood. His communication is outstanding — he is easy to reach in emergencies, responds promptly, and even calls to follow up, which shows how much he genuinely cares. He is also incredibly accommodating when it comes to scheduling, often making room for quick appointments when needed. His professionalism, compassion, and dedication make a tremendous difference. I found Culex Wellness after the big box pediatricians let me down when the going got tough with my kids. They were able to schedule a quick appointment and promptly returned my child’s school paperwork, which I truly appreciated. As someone who works in healthcare, having a pediatrician with a flexible schedule and telehealth availability is extremely important to me. Dr. Rafei is thorough and attentive—he takes the time to assess, ask thoughtful questions, and ensure nothing is overlooked. We are so glad we chose Dr. Rafei as our pediatrician. He makes himself incredibly accessible, texting and doing virtual visits even after hours and on weekends, which has been great for my husband and me as worried first time parents. He sends follow-up texts the next day, too, after our baby has been sick, to make sure she’s progressing in the right direction and answer any new questions that have arisen. We also never have any trouble making in-person appointments; his schedule is not over-booked. On top of his accessibility, he’s also clearly very knowledgeable about sensitivities such as allergies and eczema, and he stays on top of new research.
