Crisp Regional Hospital

Emergency visit on Sat. 08/30/25 This is Evelyn Abreu, everyone at Crisp Regional Hospital’s emergency Department was simply AWESOME! Starting with the front desk clerk, who interrupted her lunch break to try and console me. She even gave me one of her unopened water bottles for me to drink. All of the attending nurses, the PA (who by the way was super thorough and detailed ) were great! And lastly, the CT scan technician, was so sweet and relatable. She made the imaging testing process go very smoothly. Simply put, she was caring, compassionate and patient with me. Each one of them treated me with professionalism, respect and compassion and gave me hope and encouragement when I needed it the most. Currently been here since 9:50pm it is now 1150pm. I came in for tooth pains, I saw they were super busy so I expected a wait. As I was waiting the nursing staff was so loud that SB sshh them.Then I proceeded to call the nurses station, to check to see how long would the doctor be? She hung up! After watching 10 people walk out then 6 people went back after I ask the custodian to ask them to keep the noise down, with my tooth throbbing from the pain I eventually just left at 12am because I have to work. I will NEVER GO BACK TO THAT ER! YOU GET SPECIAL PRIVILEGES IF YOUR THE RIGHT COLOR. This is not what the old hospital represented. The staff was kind, staff respected the fact that people are sick. You guys really do go above and beyond to make sure that my mother is okay and her name is Faye Williams. Ashley you are a great nurse to my mom now she's got one of the best nurses again and that Sheila Parker. I just cannot say enough wonderful things about this hospital! We are from out of town but had to go here for an important medical procedure. Cakelia, our receiving nurse was wonderful to work with. She was understanding and helpful. She helped us understand what to expect and even checked in on us several times as we went through the pre-op steps. The next day when we checked in at 6:45am, Melissa was there to help us prepare for the day. After the procedure, I met with Hannah, my doctors secretary, and she gave me her number to call if I needed anything while I waited for my husband to come from recovery. My mom’s recent experience with Crisp Regional Hospitals ER and ICU department was beyond excellent. The ER staff were so good to her when she arrived by ambulance. They worked quickly to help her and comfort her. She was sent to ICU very quickly and nurses and staff were so good to her on day and night shift. I can’t thank you guys enough for taking such good care of her. She has not stopped talking about how well she was treated and just how good yal were to her!
