CareConnect Urgent Care, Cordele

Today I took my very ill 78 year old Mom here after we weren’t able to be seen at Crisp Hospital. We were seen immediately and could not have asked for more compassionate staff and care. They could have easily sent us to the hospital, but instead Barbara, Jasmine and others treated my Mom for several hours allowing her to be able to be sent home with me. I have never witnessed better care anywhere else and the way they truly cared for my Mom was amazing. We are so appreciative and grateful for all the staff.

I recently had a deeply frustrating experience at Care Connect, and I feel compelled to share my encounter to shed light on their customer service, or lack thereof. From the moment I arrived, I encountered a staff member who was not only unhelpful but downright rude. After providing my insurance information, I was met with an immediate dismissal. The lady behind the desk informed me that she had called her boss, who stated they do not accept my insurance. This struck me as odd since my brother had just visited the same office days prior and was seen without any issues, using the exact same insurance. When you’re feeling terrible, you don’t want to come to CUC to be seen by a dry, crude/rude MA/Nurse at your side making you feel 10 x worse, am I correct? If you said yes, I hope Morgan sees you next time because she made me feel like her priority was ME and getting the care for me that I needed and ASAP. 10/10 recommend her.

Started off my visit being turned away at 11:40 AM because they were going to lunch (no lunch hours posted online or on building). They said come back at 1:30PM. After arriving back to get checked I was told all my tests came back negative and lots of viral things were going around with a shrug. Went somewhere else the next day when I still wasn't feeling better to have my tests results come back positive resulting in a need for antibiotics. This is the second time I have been misdiagnosed here and we won't be back. The nurse that took care of me was fantastic, but the rest of everyone lacked manners and professionalism.

I went in 11/03/25 with excruciating pain and crying. Lacey Brown was my nurse. She has the best bedside manner I have ever encountered and was exactly what I needed that day. She was very gentle, kind, and compassionate!!
