Crary Shoes

I have used many custom orthotic places in Portland and Crary Shoes is the best out of all of them. They are the most thorough, detail oriented, and knowledgeable when it comes to custom orthotics, shoes, and different feet issues. I would highly recommend Crary (especially Meredith) if you need custom orthotics, have special feet issues, or if you are diabetic. They have worked with me to find cute shoes that will not hurt my feet, are comfortable, and that fit my custom orthotics in them. They are very responsive and proactive!

Bill Crary is an old world cobbler with cutting edge technique. This mans work has enhanced my quality of life.

Meredith was able to put a custom outside lift on the entire sole of my shoe to correct my leg length differential. Before I used heel lifts that furthered the damage to my metatarsals. Then she made me custom orthotics for my extensive metatarsal damage that gave me back my ability to walk and be in nature again after 5 surgeries and decades of pain. I've had probably a dozen orthotics and these are the best. She took the time to fully map out where the pain is on my foot. I can't believe in the 25 years I've been dealing with this that I was never referred to Crary.
