Cranford Park Care

My husband chose Cranford Park (subacute care) simply because it was close to his father's house and was convenient for family and friends to visit. It was a very good choice. The facility is CLEAN - no odors - at all!! The staff is attentive. Most days :-) - my FIL likes the food. It's a small facility; there seems to be a very good patient to staff ratio. All staff are very well aware of my FIL's needs. They are very attentive and reactive to any requests that we have - as the family - for tweaks to my FIL's care. His hygiene is being cared for. Would recommend Cranford Park.

Let’s start off with the therapist crew… They are a team of some of the best therapy crew I’ve ever worked with in a care center facility! Now on to the CNAs: most are very good, but unfortunately never enough. Very short staffed in my opinion, and it’s unfair to them and very unfair to the patients. Nurses are the best over there!! It’s just that I saw that they were all running around trying to keep up with everyone that they needed to and many patients (including myself at the time) were already asleep a lot of times and being woken up to take meds. I know when I’m supposed to take my meds and to be woken up out of a sleep is highly unfair to someone such as myself who needs all the sleep I can get!! I get it the nurses have a job to do but still… But overall….its not a bad place in

Went to visit a friend in the nursing home home. Ms. Hyacinth at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant! My friend’s nurses were pleasant! Room looked clean and she looked comfortable . We sang her Christmas carols and she was a bit responsive! Thank you to the staff who were caring to her and polite to us!

hello all this is just sort of a maybe a preemptive review of Cranford Park care? my mother who is my world and so very precious to me fell had a severe fall about a month ago and severely broke her hip, my mother will be 89 years old in March, I along with her social worker at the University hospital in Newark have been trying to get her into an acute rehab center, I have 27 years of experience in the medical field and unfortunately no of the downfalls of motion nursing homes, I want to save this I have spoken to Ashley who is the director she is the liaison I guess between patience and families and and the actual rehab and I am completely in awe of her professionalism her kindness her words that have made me feel so safe and letting my mother go there she will be going in there this week

Good evening I want to say that level of security for the residents and the people that work there is top notch. I have went to visit many nursing homes and this nursing facility was extremely clean, respectful and totally a place anyone who stays there feel like home unlike many others that totally ignores the residents in need. Keep up the good work you guys are a A++++ in my book.
