A couple of years ago, my cat developed an autoimmune hepatitis and deteriorated quickly over the course of a couple of weeks. Dr. Kaptan and his outstanding team made an effort to make room to see him for an urgent appointment and managed to stabilize his condition. It was a very challenging, complicated case, but it was their prompt intervention that gave him a chance at life and eventual recovery. This practice has always taken excellent care of my other pets. I'm profoundly thankful for what they do!

I recently moved to Mason and switched Vets, my female Yorkie was pregnant and I wanted to ensure a safe pregnancy and delivery. The initial vet was amazing, reasonable and very informative! My Yorkie had a litter of 7 pups, all healthy and beautiful! They were growing and doing so amazing. We went into the vet a week after deliver for a basic check up, they checked out momma and each baby individually and ensured they were all thoroughly checked. The second time I came in with the pups, they were around 6 weeks old, again received an amazingly thorough check up, deworming meds etc. and told to follow up in two weeks for their shots. I scheduled an appointment and the day before received a phone call canceling the appointment, instructed to call back the following week to schedule. I had a

I have been going here for many, many years and have seen many good vets leave or retire except for Dr. Kaptan. Twice he has diagnosed and treated my dogs for one thing, only to find out it was cancer both times. Recently my beloved baby went in and Dr. Kaptan said he had a treatable illness at a cost of $1,500+ for vet bill and $200+ for a prescription diet. Two weeks later I had to rush my dog to Grady Animal Hospital only to be told that ALL symptoms were due to cancer of the spleen that ended up bursting, and he passed. In one day we were told of his cancer and he died with no time to prepare or to keep him from the hideous pain of his spleen bursting!😭😭😭😭😭😭. Totally heart breaking especially right before Christmas.

This place is incredibly good!!! My dog, usually is a major snob and baby at the Vet and he even left with a smile !!! So grateful to the Doctor and staff for the phenomenal service.
