Country Family Pet Clinic

I initially met Dr Soler at Powhatan Animal Hospital. He took FANTASTIC care of my newly rescued shih tzu and I firmly believe he saved my dog's life after a 3 day hospital stay and surgery. My dog came home but still required care every 2 hours and close observation. That was 7 years ago. I have followed Dr Soler to his private practice albeit in Cumberland (a 30 minute drive) as I want the best and compassionate care for my pets. His wife is just as kind and personable as he is! Dr Soler does not try to 'upsale' or perform non-essential tests or procedures. The same shih tzu required dental care approximately 6 months ago and I was hesitant fearing the cost. My pet is like a new dog now!! He needed several extractions but is now the happiest, playful guy who LOVES his food! I

We recently took our older German Shepard to this clinic. We moved to the area recently from up north and was recommended this vet. The vet took a look at our dog and said to just put her down. Didn’t run any tests or do any actual screening. We ended up taking her to our old vet over two hours away who run full tests and blood work and it was a simple fix with some medication. This vet just said “put her down” Get a second opinion and beware of this location.

I was thrilled when I found out Dr. Soler had opened his own practice. He is so caring about the animals! He has taken care of our 3 dogs in the past and now will be taking care of our new fur babies. Well worth the drive from Powhatan, VA!

The vet was amazing my 2 bunnies. All my questions were answered about them. They are also reasonably priced. I loved how he also included my daughter in the visit they are her bunnies and she felt so special she was included ❤ she's very shy, but the doctor kept talking to her about them too it made her day.

The professionals at Country Family Pet clinic are absolutely amazing. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely caring, making sure every need is met with attention and kindness. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary services. The level of care and professionalism is outstanding, and I will definitely be returning for all my pet’s future visits!!!!!
