Staff is routinely friendly and helpful in person and on the phone. Medications have been filled promptly and accurately. Pharmacy has faxed Dr. when scripts were expired and left me a message informing me when Dr. renewed. Prices are very competitive. Not sure what else you'd want from a pharmacy. Update: I received OUTSTANDING SERVICE when my prescription wasn't filled correctly and not entirely due to Costco. The error was a mixture of poor handwriting from the doctor that noted an incorrect format for the drug and the fact that I didn't pick up my own prescription (I would have noticed it looked different.) I have been to this pharmacy twice. The first time was to fill a prescription for my dog. The pharmacist was so rude. I forgot her name but she’s always by the prescription drop off window. She seemed so frustrated by our questions and did not want to help us understand the process or look interested in pretending to care about helping us. Today I went to pick up a prescription for myself and Ely assisted me. He was also very agitated and rude. He was quick to assume I was blaming him when I had a question about the price of the prescription and using a coupon my provider gave me. I called my physicians office to fix the issue and he was so impatient and raised his voice with me and my provider as we tried to troubleshoot. This should be a five star review, because the men and women who work here are kind, hard working and helpful. I had surgery, was released from the hospital, and my support team and I did a beeline to Costco to fill my prescriptions before going home. We arrived just moments before they were about to take their lunch break. I have learned that in the state of Virginia, when the Pharmacist leaves, everybody has to leave, to include all the technicians. I pull up in my wheelchair begging to get my prescription. We had been using the Costco pharmacy in Springfield but decided to drop off a prescription at the Costco in Potomac Mills since it was more convenient. When dropping off the prescription, the person who took the prescription, Theresa, noticed that the strength of the medication was higher than previously provided so she called our physician who admitted that it was a mistake and reduced the strength. Theresa went above and beyond to help us, and she did so with such a charming personality. I'm sure that we will now be using only the Potomac Mills Costco pharmacy, thanks to Theresa.

Waited 20 minutes for the man behind the counter to locate my prescription, I showed my Costco ID and showed myGood RX Gold. He said, he already rang it up and could not recharge for the lower price. I told him to cancel the order if he couldn’t charge me the correct price and I left the store! Very poor customer service. FYI Came home, and called back the pharmacy. Found out the price that was originally quoted was the Good RX Gold price but the counter person did not say that.
