While cosco is generally great at taking care of customers the pharmacy at this location repeatedly gets things wrong with dates, pill counts and doses and blames the patients doctor for it. Every single time ive had to get my prescription it had been a whole ordeal of them playing phone tag with me and my doctor to verify approval no matter how many days in advance my doctor gives them notice and confirmation. They are so concerned about covering their own liability that they fail to take care of their duty. First and only issue i have ever had with cosco. I highly recommend you do not use this pharmacy location if your medication is important to your health or well-being as it could be delayed by days at a time until you find out if they even got it right or not. My insurance has indicated this is the preferred pharmacy and I never seem to have a good experience. I just spoke to a Tina who was rude, passive aggressive and didn’t put the patient first. As a healthcare executive I felt embarrassed for how our Optum - Unitedhealthcare members/patients are treated. I was told minimal information about my prescription and when I asked her name she then started to ask me if I wanted to talk to the pharmacist in a passive manner. She said they will check the prescription tomorrow in case I haven’t filled somewhere else and then try to fill at Costco also because that’s what people do with this medication. This pharmacy is horribly run. If you are a veteran, go somewhere, anywhere else. This used to be one of the best run pharmacies in the state. The arrogance of the manager is mind boggling. We were kept them for 3 hours while the female pharmacist actually argued with the doctors office over filling a legitimate and necessary prescription for a Vietnam Veteran. Likely she had a prejudice over veterans. If that’s the case, she should have sent him elsewhere. Her actions were unconscionable. The physician was furious at her lack of responsibility and attitude. Never again.

I used to love this pharmacy and told everyone how much better Costco was than any other and I am changing my mind. Surprisingly even the east side Costco pharmacy is better than this one if you don’t mind the drive. This pharmacy EVERY singe time I call I am placed on hold, they don’t even ask they answer and press the hold button. I am placed on hold AT LEAST 3 or more times before someone talks to me. Then, once I get someone on the phone they tell me to call back when they have more help because they can’t help me, they’re too busy! They never have my dogs medication. They’re rude, unhelpful, and I’m about done. Walgreens and cvs aren’t any better but I wish Costco pharmacy could stop being rude, take care of each costumer and not say you’re too busy to help me! For me to have to call
