Costco Pharmacy

Put in a request to have my prescriptions transferred over from CVS and they didn’t do it. Had my doctor send a new Rx here but they would not fill it because dr forgot to write the frequency on the instructions. CVS never had a problem with that and filled it anyways. Super inconvenient if you really need to take something everyday.

This was, without exaggeration, the worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had at Costco—and I’ve been a loyal Costco member for years. The staff were rude, dismissive, and did not listen to what I was explaining. I was repeatedly sent back and forth between windows to “fix” issues that should have been handled the first time, only to be forced to stand in the long line again each time. Zero ownership. Zero accountability. The absolute low point? When I called in to clarify the situation, I was essentially told to find another pharmacy. That is an unbelievable response from a company that prides itself on customer service. What makes this even worse: I went to the Mountain View Costco pharmacy and had zero issues filling the exact same medication that the Sunnyvale Costco pharmacy claimed

I was told it’s guaranteed to get the prescriptions by today. Waited for 2 hours and get back when I received the text message to be told it’s CLOSED.

My Provider sent the order to the pharmacy and told me it should be ready in 30 mins. I called the pharmacy after 2.5 hours to check the status and then realized that the pharmacy is checking the order at that time and said it’ll take an hour to complete.

The Latanoprost eye drop I'm usually getting is from Dallas area Costco Pharmacies. I want Sandoz brand instead of Bausch+Lomb where the Costco Pharmacy is usually carrying as B+L seems to be too easy to leak at the cap. The Dallas stores have no problem getting the Sandoz for me. When I'm in the Bay Area, I found the Costco Pharmacy in Sunnyvale keeps refusing to order the Sandoz for me, claiming its system is different from the one in Texas. Strangely the Costco Pharmacy in San Jose on Senter Rd. has no problem to place the order on Sandoz brand for me! This Costco Pharmacy in Sunnyvale really should think about how to give the Costco members good customer service!
