Costco Pharmacy

Dr called on my medication on the 11th. Maintenance medication. Today is the 14th. Costco Pharmacy is the ONLY Pharmacy that has special " rules" and makes you see pharmacist WVERY MONTHeven when it's been the Same meds for YEARS. They are waiting on Dr to get " code" for a med I have Always taken. Called Dr. Costco NEVER CALLED. Here we are 4 DAYS Later, and they did NOT EVEN FILL MY OTHER REGULAR MEDS, When I was told only waiting on 1!! Insurance covers 100% of cost here ( BC) Otherwise DEFINITELY Would NOT use them! HORRID SERVICE, And now 5 DAYS without my Maintenance Medication!! Fix YOUR ISSUES COSTCO.

Amazing staff. Every time I go in to pick up a prescription or call this pharmacy I am met with such kindness and patience. I have never had a bad pharmacy experience in general but I think that this pharmacy goes above and beyond in professionalism and kindness and that’s why I felt inspired to actually leave a review. Also in general Costco provides wayy cheaper medicine- win win!

I find the staff efficient and maybe a bit cool but not rude. The prices are Amazing. We had one prescription at CVS over $120.00. That was after insurance payed some. Costco was under $8.00. Considering the lines and how busy they are, for us it is very worth the price.

Because of allergies I have to have specific generic for my monthly prescription - the allergy is very severe and last time I was given the wrong one it put me in the hospital. I have had multiple conversations with the staff here and my physician has very clearly indicated which generic I should be given. Guess what - repeatedly given the wrong generic. Tanya is the only one who can get my rx filled correctly - she is very accommodating and professional but I have to speak to her and only her each month to request my rx because if I don't, I always am given the wrong thing, even though my rx in their computer CLEARLY STATES what I need to receive. Plus - I have been given a lot of attitude from the staff on the phone about needing a specific generic. DO THEY THINK I AM MAKING THIS UP?

We have experienced nothing but efficiency and friendliness at this Costco pharmacy. The reason for four stars is because of the sometimes long wait times to pick up a prescription.
