Costco Pharmacy

The service is terrific and the prices are right. They have one female pharmacist with an eidetic memory, she greets me by name when I walk up. It seems impossible because they have thousands of customers, but somehow she's able to recognize me just like this was a small neighborhood pharmacy, the king that no longer exists.

Better pricing for our pets medication than at the vet. However, the 2 female employees (one blonde, one brunette) are totally rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful. The brunette woman was seemingly annoyed by any question we asked, which is a significant part of being a pharmacist? We were shocked as it appeared we did something wrong when asking how to pick up the medication / what the dosage was. After dealing with her, she said to pick up our medication at the register when paying. This was our first time using the pharmacy at costco so we asked “the regular checkout registers?” to which she said yes. The cashier was shocked and said this has never once been the case at costco. My family and I have been very happy with the services this pharmacy has provided throughout our many years with them. Their entire staff have always been very welcoming and professional unlike other pharmacies that make you feel like just another number. If ever we've needed consultation about a specific medication, they've always made the time available to address any of our questions or concerns. One of the many features that we love is they conveniently provide up to date notifications via text messages of when a specific medication is in need of refill as well as when the medication is ready for pickup. Quick, good prices, and very knowledgeable and helpful!

I have had two different experiences with this particular Costco pharmacy. The first one was very positive. My husband had a prescription sent there. I called it in before they were even open and the woman was very friendly and helpful. We went to pick up the prescription and they didn't have a 3 month supply, so they gave us a 2 month supply. Not a big deal. The price of the medicine was MUCH less than Target, and we don't have health insurance so it makes a big difference. This time around, I needed a prescription for eye drops for conjunctivitis. The man on the phone was pretty rude and seemed very busy and bothered that I was checking to see if my prescription was ready. Doc hadn't even called it in yet.
