Costco Pharmacy

The Costco (Rand Rd) is spot on every time with my prescritions. It's over ten years and they also get me the best price on my prescriptions as prices fluctuate on the pharma market. Yes you may need to wait your turn- we all do. Yes it may take a bit to get your new prescription started. But everything is done for a reason. Taking ones time helps ensure safety. Thank you to the pharmacist and his staff! We all deserve to have a strong team behind us.

I have never had an issue with prescriptions that the staff did not address quickly and kindly. They have gone above and beyond on several occasions. The manager is particularly nice and hard-working, always taking the time to make sure medications are clearly explained and all questions are answered.

Have never personally witnessed them having a person’s Rx ready on time. They seem to need at least 48 hours and constant calls to remind them to fill, and don’t expect them to notify you when it’s ready. Despite the constant reminders, you’ll still probably have to go in and wait for them to get it ready in person. Also the pharmacist takes his job a little too seriously. Good for the people who can’t afford a doctor (most of this Costco’s population it seems), bad for the people held up by this extremely inefficient bottleneck who don’t need advice because they’ve already got a doctor and have been getting the same prescription for 23 years. You will not—I repeat will NOT—be able to leave with your medication until you are forced into a 5-min consultation.

I have used this pharmacy several times. Every single time, which I’m not exaggerating, there has always been a problem. They gave me the wrong medication this time around and are saying since I signed for it there is nothing they can do about. Now I’m out medication that I absolutely need.

Don’t order your prescriptions here!! Totally unorganized, and have lost prescriptions multiple times! Horrible wait times too!!
