Costco Pharmacy

I’m can’t say enough GREAT things about Costco Pharmacy in Merced. As a former Rite Aide customer. I was dreading looking for a new pharmacy. Long story short… I went with Costco as a replacement. They all smiled, they were helpful and had me on my way in no time. These hard working folks are so busy. They all smiled and were a great help.

Very friendly staff. Pharmacists Chris and Jeff are excellent. I can call them and they answer the phone right away. Not like Walgren's who never answer.

I rarely give reviews but I had to on this occasion. **Review of Costco Pharmacy** Today 01/02/2025 had an experience with Merced Costco Pharmacy that left me feeling both frustrated and disappointed. My doctor sent a prescription to the pharmacy, and I promptly received a call informing me that my insurance was not active in their system and would not be accepted. While I appreciate being informed of the issue, I was surprised that the pharmacy staff did not offer to update my insurance information in their system or assist in resolving the problem. Instead, I was told to contact my insurance provider to verify that my coverage was active. After calling my insurance company, they confirmed that my insurance was indeed active. Additionally, they provided me with an extra two digits for

Male pharmacy tech was not very friendly or helpful. I hope they replace him with someone who is both friendly and helpful.
