Costco Pharmacy

My two young daughters and I had a wonderful experience with pharmacist Mirna getting our flu vaccine last October. Even though there was a long line of patients, she was very patient and kind talking us through the process. I followed her lead and my kids went first, she was so gentle administering the shot they didn't even cry! This is the first time that's happened. When it was my turn she was just as gentle, it honestly didn't hurt. We all left her office so happy, I cannot thank her enough! We're definitely coming back to see her next year.

Jonathan is always kind, patient, and very helpful when he answers the phone. Unfortunately, my experience with the rest of the staff has been poor; calls are often placed on hold without asking or my call just gets disconnected without any communication. I understand the pharmacy is busy, but hanging up on customers is unacceptable.

I would give 0 star if I could. Like someone else posted, the pharmacist Mirna was extremely rude. Although the dosage are the same for me and my child, she wouldn’t allow me to get my flu shot first before my child (he was a bit scared). Her words were “it’s my clinic you have to follow my rules”. And then when it was my child’s turn, she made him( an almost 8 year old) sit on my lap to get the shot for the same reason even after I told her he is big enough and doesn’t need to as he’s done it many times. She was also extremely annoyed and inpatient when I asked questions. In addition, the pharmacy tech that helped us completed paperwork was also extremely rude and was annoyed when I asked questions. Many thanks to Phillip of Costco's Pharmacy department at 3836 Richmond Avenue in Houston, TX! A prescription would have cost me $98.03 but Phillip checked to see if I belonged to the Costco Member Prescription Program (CMPP). As a result, my price was reduced to $$33.79 - a savings of $64.24! Phillip always double checks to see if the customer is taking advantage of all the discounts and benefits that he is entitled too! Costco should be very proud of his exemplary service!

Sent a prescription here and they did nothing with it for 12+ hours and refuse to answer phones. When you call them it goes through but they just hang up on you right away. Send prescriptions elsewhere unless you have days to wait on them and don’t expect to be able to talk to anyone.
