The staff is awesome. They are strapped and can’t really answer the phone but if you leave a message they are great at getting back to you. Their pharmacy software system seems to be junk and makes a lot of mistakes or drops the ball- the system as a whole needs to be rethought. Plus the mobile pharmacy app is buggy and extremely limited. When you combine refill request to doctors, a buggy internal system, a buggy pharmacy module in the Costco app, and then often being out of stock diabetic supplies… It just feels like chaos each and every three months or so. Come on Costco- you can fix this.
Dunno why, but this Costco pharmacy just can't get their act together. Lost prescriptions, texts not received, orders mixed up, incorrect prices charged, items out of stock. The counter staff is trying their best, and they do have good prices when they have items in stock.
Pressing zero to talk to a Costco Pharmacist is just taking me back to the beginning of the list of options like it did last month and it’s making me so frustrated. I had to call 5 Costco's this past month to see if they had my medication and every single one answered except for ours here in Bend (I was traveling and trying to find one that had it along the way). This time I’m injured, can’t drive there, and ours doesn’t even ring. The staff is nice but the inability to reach someone without waiting in their crazy long line just to find out they have no idea when they will have my medication back is ridiculous. My partner and I may just have to change pharmacies. This has only been an issue since the location change and is no longer feeling worth the hassle.
All pharmacy medication bottles and prescription print outs reek of perfume. Horrible perfume smell. We placed bottles and print outs outside for 6 hours and they still had to throw the print outs away and put the prescriptions in different bottles. Why is a pharmacy that is supposed to be a pure environmental smell this bad?
Called to get my very sick child medicine that was out of stock, so they told me to call another pharmacy and transfer the prescription. Did it. They just sat on the fax transfer request from the other pharmacy for over 4 hours. They would not pick up when I called to confirm they had it at all. The phone line sends you into a loop of "thanks for calling bend costco!" And the empty promise of the possibility that they'll transfer you to a human person before the cycle restarts about a minute and 30 seconds later. Had to call administration to walk a message over. This has been a dehumanizing and debilitating experience on what was already a horrifyingly stressful situation, and I'm questioning if the lowered prices are worth the lowered quality of service and lack of urgency when dealing w
