For months we took our tripod malamute to vet after vet to ask why he was having trouble walking and seemed to be in pain or some degree of discomfort. Finally the 4 th vet we saw referred us to Cornell for a cat scan and we actually found out how much discomfort he was actually in 😢 They quickly picked up on his elbow dysplasia and where every vet said no hip dysphasia they showed his cat scan and he has one hip totally out of its socket and the other had dysphasia also but not quite as bad . Everyone there was pleasant and was very kind and respectful and went over the cost . Why did we have to travel 3 hours to get our pup the veterinary care he deserved? Within that same week he had surgery and is home recovering until the 22nd when he sees sports medicine to hopefully get him into a w

We took our 8 year old dog Sweet Sheba into the emergency room for not being able to keep her food down. Come to find out she was a hot mess. Lyme disease, kidney disease, thick walls of the heart, high blood pressure and a whole bunch more. The doctors and team in the emergency room took good care of her as well as the doctors and team in the internal medicine unit! My husband and I truly appreciate everything you all have done for her. Unfortunately the fight had to end. Rest in peace Sweet Sheba! Run and chase all the squirrels you want. In the picture with both dogs, the other dog is Sheba’s sister Nala!

They always take care of my ferrets!! The only vet I trust having my pets lives in their hands!!!! they’ve done two major surgeries on one of my ferrets and do a fantastic job!! can’t think them enough!!! They are little more pricey and other vets but never do more than they need and always are straightforward. I leave feeling relieved every time, with answers!!!

This was my first time going to Cornell with my golden retriever for an emergency. I was beyond impressed with the degree of professionalism and thoroughness. I was kept informed every step of the way. I had to leave him overnight but knew in my heart he was going to be cared for. Beyond happy to have him home and I can’t say enough amazing things about Cornell.

I brought my little IZZY in for a regular appointment! While in the room going over things the tech looked at Izzy and knew something wasn’t right he asked me if he could take him to be checked out I said of course ! I knew he wasn’t feeling well BUT next thing I knew they was rushing him across the hall to the EMERGENCY CLINIC . After examining Izzy they brought me in a room said he’s critical and needs to be hospitalized at least 3-5 days I replied whatever it takes of course. She assured me that they will be in touch twice a day with updates so I felt not ok but no choice but to leave him . They were very accommodating on letting me see and love him before I left for my 3.5 hours drive home . Not even an hour into my drive I got the call that his heart has stopped and that they were do
