I have a heart condition, as well as a blood clotting disorder. I was rushed Sunday the 6th to Dearborn and they saw in the ER that my heart rate was pivoting, and my blood pressure Was reaching massive lows! I was admitted to the cardiology floor and the nurses there were spectacular with taking care of me. I went home on Tuesday because my levels were a bit more ‘normal’ and I was told come back if I experienced vomiting, cold sweats, chest pain. That night I had issues with my beats per minute and my blood pressure, was told by my cardiologist who works through there to come back. Wednesday came and I started to feel massively worse, went to the ER at 3pm and they ran an ekg which came back fine, I knew it wasn’t a heart attack. They insisted that my levels were fine and put in the far
I came in for neck, pain and pain going down my arm due to a herniated and pinched nerve. They did a CT and said I don’t have one but my MRI that was done five months ago said I had a pinched nerve and herniated disc. They don’t read your chart They give you medication you can’t have ! Five years ago that used to be a good Hospital now they’ve gone to shit. We need to bring back real doctors who do it for the care and the love not for the moneyAnd I don’t care about punctuation I’m pissed
My wife went into labor on Tuesday and was discharged Thursday, and what followed was an absolute failure of basic postpartum care. After delivery, my wife repeatedly told nurses she was having severe difficulty urinating, abdominal pain, and that she had to push in order to pee. She also had stitches, yet staff brushed this off and told her this was “normal after pregnancy.” It is NOT normal to have to push to urinate, especially postpartum, and especially with perineal stitches. Despite clear red flags for urinary retention, she was discharged without a bladder scan, without proper evaluation, and without any real plan. Within 6 hours of being sent home, her pain and inability to move became so severe that we had to rush her to the ER — where they drained 1.3 LITERS of urine from her b
This used to be the best hospital around now that it's switched hands a couple of times it's junk. I had to go to a different emergency room after leaving this emergency room to get the proper treatment for my finger that I completely smashed completely apart, they just cleaned it and wrapped it up and sent me home to call a specialist who cannot get me in for 7 days. I'\n M not sure what kind of emergency room they're running over there, but I recommend never going to that department or even that hospital ever again.
Worst experience ever half of the NICU staff was amazing others not so much had a nurse named Megan talk crap about me to another nurse while I was sitting in front of them holding my baby. A team of doctors who cannot agree on anything all have difference of opinions which ended up prolonging care unnecessarily if I could give this negative Stars I would however there were a few staff members that were amazing I would like to acknowledge the following people as 10 out of 10 Michella, dawn , Sara, Carolyn, Murphy, Alia, hunter , Kendall, amani, Taylor, Catherine ,maria , Rachel nurse practitioner stood out the most for compassion knowledge and willingness to hear the parent out, the other nps were amazing As far as doctors go doctor leaiter, Clark and altani we're by far the most knowled
