Cook Family Dentistry

I went there for the first time today and couldn't help notice the friendliness of the staff. Dr. Megan was great and she explained each step along the way so I wasn't surprised during the more painful parts of the procedure. The extraction was due to my own neglect, yet Dr. Megan never made me feel guilty about not maintaining my dental care.

Dr. Megan is my girl! I love her. She does amazing work. She makes me feel so confident about my smile. I must admit I am a bit sad when I don't get her but her dad is equally great. Each staff member is caring and so much fun to chat with. I do miss the mom at the front desk greeting me by name before I can even open the door.

Friendly staff, great hygienists and the dentists really care about their patients. Everyone is very thorough and the dentists also check for other possible illnesses that a patient might not be aware of. It's really a family run business where everyone is treated like family. They need to make a living but will never persuade you to have a procedure done just to make a buck. That means a lot to me.

My husband and I moved to DE from NJ and were looking for a competent dentist. We found The Cook Family Dentistry and were treated as if we were family. We both have had work done and are very pleased with the results. We highly recommend this practice.

By far not happy. Always went because it was my husbands preference however I am done with this dentist office. The main dr. Cook, he no bedside manner, my kids beg for me to have the daughter (other dentist, it's a family). My main complaint is that I am being charge a cancellation fee for $25 even though we showed up for the appointment. Mind you we have been here/customers for too long! I was under the impression that this was an appointment to pull a baby tooth from my older sons mouth. Apparently they have him for a cleaning instead. Office staff not impressive and truly I have always paid any of our dental out of pocket and never selected my insurance at work because they don't accept it. Thanks but no thanks cook family dentistry, I would remove the name family from the header.
