Cook Children's Urgent Care (Prosper)

The staff is overall friendly & quick. But my child has been misdiagnosed twice for redness in his ears, not a true ear infection (confirmed by our family pediatrician) and given anti biotics unnecessarily. Our other child was given a “teething” diagnosis when he ended up having a severe bacterial gut infection. I love Cook’s, but haven’t been happy with the competency of these providers. I will NOT be bringing my children back here for urgent care.

My daughter was seen here today. She is special needs and we have been to many urgent cares in her 12 years and this urgent care was one of the best. The process was quick and truly set up for children but most importantly everyone was so kind and the Dr went out of his way to help with my daughter’s specialist referrals. I hope the nurses and dr get to see this and hear that their kindness did not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

During the snowstorm, our daughter needed to be seen urgently. Every place I called was either closed or didn’t answer—except Cook Children’s Urgent Care. They were open and got us in right away. From the nurses to the NP, everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and compassionate. They took great care of our daughter, made sure she was thoroughly checked, and had us in and out efficiently without ever making us feel rushed. It was such a relief during an already stressful time with a sick kiddo. Thank you, Cook Children’s, for taking such great care of our family. Y’all were truly wonderful!

i am surprised to see the low rating for Cook Children's Urgent Care Prosper. I have brought my son here when needed for the past two years and have never had an issue. The is wonderful well kept facility. The doctor's and staff are very caring and welcoming. Wait time is about 15-30 minutes. Thank you Dr. Radimecky for the care you and your team provided today. Joanna thank you for the x-ray service. My son and I appreciate you all.

My son had to be seen in urgently , and it was almost past the last appointment, their closing time , and they kindly accepted my request we got seen , had the prescription send across and we were out within 30 min. I am extremely thankful to the front office staff and the nurse practitioner who saw us, patiently heard all the questions and provided solutions for each of it. Thank you so much 🙏.
