There is NOWHERE else I would feel comfortable taking my daughter than Cooks in McKinney. First of all, the front desk staff treat you like your family anytime you call or walk in. I love those ladies so much and they genuinely WANT to help you and care for you. No matter who I call to speak with, every staff member is amazing. I’ve been taking my 11 year old to Dr. Falk since she was 3 and there’s no one else I trust my daughters care with. Dr. Falk is an incredible listener, she genuinely wants to make your child feel comfortable, she cares, and has impeccable bedside manner. She also is super supportive if a parent wants to try something new and she doesn’t talk down to you in a condescending way in the least bit. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this office. I’m a first time mom and my daughter’s reflux has caused numerous issues since she was born. We didn’t switch to this office until she was 5 months and I wish we had done it sooner. The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. Dr. Calli Falls is PHENOMENAL. She truly takes the time to listen, and always answers the million questions I have thoroughly. I never feel rushed or judged. She is proactive and she did more for our daughter within the first month than we ever got from our other pediatrician for 5 months before coming here. I’m so grateful to have found this office. I cannot recommend them enough.

Be aware of their billing practices. During a routine wellness check for our daughter, Dr. Michelle Bailey noted some earwax buildup and offered to clean it. It wasn't too bad and we could have removed it ourselves at home. When my wife and I explicitly asked if this would be covered as part of the wellness exam, she affirmatively said yes, so we let her do it. However, we later received a bill for the procedure because our insurance denied the claim. When we arrived for our next appointment, the staff refused to see our daughter unless we paid the balance upfront. I asked for the opportunity to call my insurance to clarify the coverage first, but they denied that request. We absolutely love Cook Children’s and especially our pediatrician, Dr. Michelle Bailey. She is truly wonderful—compassionate, patient, and attentive. Dr. Bailey always takes the time to listen to all of our concerns and never makes us feel rushed during appointments. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her patients and their families. The front desk staff is also fantastic—warm, helpful, and always welcoming. Even after we briefly left to find a pediatrician with more specific experience in Down syndrome care for our firstborn, Noah, we were welcomed back with open arms. This team is phenomenal, I wish I would have known about them when my oldest was born. The front office, Brittany, Rhonda, and Stephanie always are so sweet with my kids. My kids even LOVE this place! My family feels like royalty when we come here. They take the time to care in all aspects of our visits. The MAs Courtney and Cristina are fantastic too, they are so good at getting on the kids level. The first time I ever met Dr. Falk, naturally my kids were having a meltdown.
