ConvenientMD Urgent Care

The issue with this place is their operating model. They allow you to book an appointment for a certain time even when they know they are running 90 minutes behind. How is it helpful to have people sitting in the waiting room with a bunch of other sick people for hours past their appointment time. There has to be a better way, even notifying people what the wait would be would be helpful. They took my copay before I had any idea how long of a wait it would be. The provider was fine, and the ultimate care was good it is the business side that could use serious improvement. I would avoid if you have another option. The only good thing is if someone comes with you they can get a burger or two while you wait for a few hours…

I had an appointment over a month ago to have blood testing done for a project at work. I was supposed to receive my results within 2-5 business days -- as I said that was over a month ago, and I still haven't received my results. I've called several times and left multiple voicemails but have never gotten through to someone, nor I have received a callback. $140 down the drain essentially. Maybe good for urgent care needs based on other reviews, but I wouldn't utilize them again for blood testing.

No one loves having to be seen due to extreme pain, but, start to finish, my experience was great all because to the staff on duty. They saw my pain and did everything quickly and efficiently to minimize my movement from room to room. Thorough exam and doors held while I ever so slowly exited the building home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Convenient MD!!

They missed my appendicitis and gave me discharge information that my primary and another doctor couldn't figure it out. Then they diagnosed a ligament tear as a break for my friend and gave her 2 months of wrong treatment. And they never made her original x rays or discharge notes available to her primary who is also really confused by what they are doing. So maybe go there for a sore throat but won't go there if something is actually wrong-- because they will get it wrong and leave your later doctors very concerned.

I spent 3 hours on a Sunday for an urgent care appointment only for the nurse practitioner did not care about my medical history and refused to prescribe me the medication that I needed despite 30 years of medical history saying I needed it. She then directed me to my primary care doctor. I went to them because it was a Sunday. I ended up spending another miserable night sick and getting little sleep for no good reason. If you can go anywhere else, I recommend doing so.
