Connecticut Orthopaedic Institute at MidState Medical Center

I had a knee replacement with CT Orthopedic at MidState Medical Center. The care is top notch! Pre-op staff was supportive, Operating Room was a blur, Recovery Room compassionate. The care once I was admitted was outstanding. The nurses were caring, happy, helpful and kind. The Nurse's Aides were friendly, caring, patient. PT was wonderful, helpful and caring. Staying on the Ortho floor was like a first class lounge at the airport. They were constantly checking on my level of comfort to see if I needed anything for pain, the food was great and everyone smiled! I strongly recommend Dr. Christopher Lynch and his team at MidState!!

I want to sincerely thank the entire team at MidState Medical Center for the outstanding care I received during a very difficult visit on the night of Thursday, 1/26/26. From the moment I arrived, the staff was professional, kind, and genuinely caring even on what was clearly a very busy night. The triage team and front desk staff were informative, thoughtful, and compassionate. They took the time to explain things clearly and even shared smiles and laughs with me while I tried to use humor to get through a stressful and painful situation. As of today 4-6-25 i just was released from this magnificent facility. Dr Jeffrey Bash is my orthopedic surgeon and performed a 2 part lumbar fusion. The first part was at middlesex hospital. The daytime staff was good but nightime was absolutely horrible. So my second surgery was in midstate so i was really dreading being in the hospital for 2 nights this time after my recent stay at middlesex. I can not express my gratitude enough on how i was cared for at midstate. From the moment i walked in on surgery day you could just tell it was a whole different vibe on how they care of there patients. From the daytime staff to the overnight staff they literally wait on you hand and foot and are so caring it was truly amazing and i cant thank everyone enough. 5 stars is just not enough for high le

I had a total knee replacement 3 years ago on my left knee and this past week I had my right knee done and the ct orthopedics Doctors and staff are top notch. This hospital has the best staff you’ll ever find. They are all so caring and compassionate. The entire staff there was excellent. Both times I had surgery it was a pleasant experience. Even the food was fabulous. The PT was so nice to me as was everyone else even the super nice young guy that wheeled me out to the entrance for my ride when I was discharged. Thank you all for caring.
