Connecticut GI

I’m giving a 2 because nice staff. Dr was nice but I was told I had to plan bathroom stops.. (being in CT and have ibs) not always easy. I have 💩 on the side of the road so many times. I got a second opinion after my mom was saying this ain’t normal. Ended up going to Middletown gi and he took an xray. I had a blockage. (Ct gi is as telling me I had to live on Imodium. ) Middletown told me that Imodium stop diarrhea temporarily, if you take it all the time it creates a blockage and then you have overflow diarrhea and horrible pains. I was also told there are other medications to helps with symptoms

My experience was good with Connecticut GI @ this location. Was scheduled for a procedure @ 645a. The front desk was a little shaky (service) @ first, but I kept in mind that it was early. After interacting, it got better. The nurses and the doctor were great. Preparation and post surgery! Thank you to all. Professional and very empathetic. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

THEY DON’T ANSWER THE PHONE. My primary care doc referred me here and told me someone from this office would call me to make an appointment. Leah call on Thursday 9/15. I missed her call by 15-20 min and immediately called her back, pressing 3 for the front desk as she instructed. No one answered, so I left a message. Leah called me back on Saturday! I missed the call, again by minutes. I called back. No answer, so I left a message. I called Connecticut GI first thing Monday morning. No one answered, so I left another message. Leah called me back a few hours later. I, again, missed the call because I work and can’t be with my phone all day. I called her right back. No one answered, I left a message again. No one from the office called me Tuesday. I called first thing Wednesday morning. No

Trying to schedule an appointment. Called multiple times, no one returned my call. Had to get the ER that I went to last night to make a call. Haven't even been there and already I am NOT impressed. Where are the live people to speak to? This reception is the worst that I have ever felt with. This would be unacceptable at any other practice. I'd give zero ⭐, but that isn't an option. 👎👎👎👎 Guess I'll be puking like someone who has an eating disorder!!! Thanks

If you ever have to go for a colonoscopy, this is the best place you can ever go. I couldn't imagine a better team to go through such a miserable procedure with anyone than the people at Connecticut GI. I was treated with kindness, care, concern, and friendliness. The whole procedure, from the moment I walked through the door, was quick and painless. It was over before I knew it! Which is great because when starving yourself for over 24 hours, the last thing you want to do is wait around when you're hangry. Thank you for making my first time doing this a breeze! *They have great music taste, too!
