Going to the hospital was a good experience although I had to have surgery. The hospital itself was immaculate. The staff from valet to the OR and Recovery Room were professional yet friendly and helped me stop stressing so much because of their excellent bedside manner and they explained everything before I had the procedure. I can’t say anything was wrong with my treatment for the entire day !!! It was a positive time and I felt at ease instead of stressed out. Thank you to the entire team ! It takes everyone to make it a good experience, from the valet, housekeeping and clerical, to the aides, nurses, interns, and doctors. You were all my heroes that day !!! Thanks !!!!!!! Was admitted through the ER after a very short wait. It took some time before a room was available, but once in my room, things moved quickly. The nursing staff on the 7th floor was exceptional throughout my stay. I have had outpatient testing since being discharged and the people associated with that testing have also been very knowledgeable and kind. I aim giving a four-star rating due to the fact that I do not think my room was cleaned as often as it should have been and because there was only one meal during my seven-day stay that I felt was good enough to eat.

My wife and i have been doctoring through conemaugh for our entire pregnancy. 6 weeks prior to our due date she was admitted and our child was born early. Throughout the whole process the nurses and doctors have been amazing. Kind, respectful, caring. We could not have asked for a better hospital. To top it off everything has been so neat and clean and the cafeteria has been great. 10/10 will be coming back for any future children and needs.

I took my 84yo mother to the emergency room for another bout of pneumonia. The staff was very nice. However, they left my mom to sit on a chair on the ER for a grand total of 18 hours. It was at that point, I couldn’t take another min. I caught the director come through touring the ER with his entourage. I had no problem asking him why this was happening. He said he would check into it. 15 min later they found her an empty bed in the ER. I didn’t care where at this point. It should be noted, I saw 4 other empty beds there. There is no excuses that could explain this. Come on Connaught, do better.

( April 4th 2023 ) My Husband had surgery on Tuesday had to be there 5:30am It was a long surgery & seems like a long day as well. Good thing I had my sister in law & mother in law to keep me company. Believe me towards the end of the day our nerves were shot. Wanted to say thank you to the doctor's & nurses that look over my husband while he was there. That also goes out to the nurse on the 7th floor. Last Monday my husband was rushed to the hospital. By Wednesday he ended up in the ICU. With alot of things going on with him with his breathing, with his cancer & being on the tube. I want to thank the nurses & the doctors who trying the best.
