Concerned Dental Care of the Bronx

I had an appointment today I got there at 7:30 in the morning and the lady at the front desk was very professional and took my name down. I was called exactly at 8 AM when my appointment was.with Dr. Melissa Davis for a re-treatment of a root canal. I was terrified and very worried. She made it very comfortable and I had a very good experience. The office was very clean. They redid the whole place and the staff there is very professional this time around was a wonderful experience.

This office is absolutely pathetic. I called from three different phones, and every single time someone picked up just to hang up immediately. Not a greeting, not a word — just straight disrespect. That’s not an accident. That’s a front desk full of people who clearly don’t care, don’t want to work, and have zero professionalism. If this is how they treat people before you even walk in the door, imagine how little they care once you’re actually there. The entire front desk needs to be replaced from top to bottom — because whoever is running it right now is a complete failure at their job. This office doesn’t value patients, doesn’t value time, and doesn’t value basic human decency. At this point, the way they operate is beyond unprofessional — it’s embarrassing. I had a great experience here for my first visit. I was seen promptly, all team members were kind, and my cleaning was excellent and thorough. The doctor was willing to answer my questions and was very pleasant. I would recommend this place to others.

The dentists and other staff there are fine, my issue is with the Spanish woman at the front desk. They need to replace her immediately since she is quite obviously so miserable with her job and life. She does not care about patients at all! She is rude, condescending and just plain unfriendly. How is she the first person we have to see with such lousy/nasty attitude, it truly makes the start of an already anxious situation, much worse!

This place has the worst communication. I've been trying to get an appointment since the beginning of the year for a loose crown on my implant that was put on over 10 years ago in the same place. I just waited today (11-21-25) for over an hour to be told that the X-ray machine is down. Which isn't true considering that 3 people had there X-rays taken in the hour that I was waiting. While I waited I over heard 2 other people complain about scheduling issues. I suggest to look else where for better scheduling services. This want the first time this happened to me. Please learn from my experience and don't go through this sad experience.
